ASEAN University Network (AUN)

The ASEAN University Network is an arrangement between 26 universities in the ten ASEAN countries. The AUN currently undertakes more than 20 collaborative projects within ASEAN and with is dialogue partners, such as China, The European Union, Japan, and Korea.

ASEAN European University Network (ASEA-UNINET)

ASEA UNINET was founded in 1994 by Austrian and some S.E.Asian (Indonesian, Thai and Vietnamese) universities as an association of European and South-East Asian universities. At the present time (May 2007), 16 countries comprising a total of 63 universities are members of ASEA-UNINET. ASEA-UNINET promotes international university cooperation through joint programs including a staff exchange/student exchange (short-term), joint research projects in the focus areas, graduate programmes (mainly Ph.D. studies) and postgraduate education and specialized training courses.

The Asia-Oceania Top University League on Engineering (AOTULE)

AOTULE, founded in 2007, is a league of eleven premiere engineering universities in the Asia-Oceania region.  The AOTULE promotes inter-university cooperation through joint programs including an annual Dean’s meeting, student workshop and exchanges of students and staff, in order to improve the quality of engineering education and research of the members. It aims to broaden participating students’ perspectives through education, research and cross-cultural interactions.

Global Engineering Education Exchange (GE3)

This program provides opportunities for students at member institutions to receive academic credit for courses taken at overseas institutions, and practical training in a foreign setting. Through participation in the program, Global E³ graduates gain the necessary foreign language ability, cross-cultural skills, and professional experience to excel in the multinational/multicultural business environment of the 21st century.

Global E3 Consortium: About 46 universities worldwide – about 35 in the United States, and 16 in the United Kingdom, Asia, Australia, Latin America, and the Middle East
